Pickart Insurance Agency, Inc. was founded with the goal of assisting our clients in every aspect of their financial lives. We help our clients seek financial security by providing professional advice and counsel on Insurance and Financial matters.

Trusted for Three Generations

In 1919, a young Walter Pickart (1896-1985) opened an office in downtown Gary. He subsequently built an office on West 5th Avenue where his son Walter N. Pickart (1933-2006) joined him in 1952. It was Walter N. Pickart who then led us to our Merrillville location while serving clients until his passing in 2006. Current owner and third generation, David Pickart carries on the tradition of service, having worked with clients since 1977.
